How will my Free Listing work?

For example, if your business was the Thistle Grove Hotel in London in SW7 8JT, your Free Listing will be displayed under all Touch First and Touch Link advertisements on search results in:

• Your Local Touch Directory - searched within http://www.touchlondon.co.uk
• Nationally on Touch local - searched within www.touchlocal.com
• For your Business Name - Thistle Grove Hotel
• Within just one category - i.e. Hotels
• Within your zipcode using My neighborhood search facility - SW7 8JT

Is a Free Listing also search engine optimised like Touch First advertisements?

No, Free Listings are not search engine optimised and unlike Touch First advertisements, they do not provide targeted traffic or maximum visibility. However, The Touch Local sites are highly optimised and just being listed on one of our portals gives your business a higher probability of being found quicker than not on most major search engines.

To ensure greater visibility on the internet, Touch First advertisements receive visitors direct from several major search engines such as Google, when users conduct searches related to your business.

Do I have to add my free description on my Free Listing when I first submit it?

No, you can add your free description at anytime by logging into your Touch Target account. Remember your user name will always be your email address.

Free Listings have the lowest visibility on search results in Touch. They are displayed under Touch Firsts and Touch Links and the order they are displayed in is random and rotates continuously.
